Responsibilities

The role entails taking strategic oversight of testing activities, including planning, integration, test casing, scripting, and execution to ensure comprehensive coverage. The candidate will schedule and lead sessions for the review of test deliverables, collaborating on multiple projects/systems and potentially becoming a subject matter expert. Collaboration with Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) and Development teams to analyze and review business objectives and requirements, ensuring testability, is a key responsibility. Active participation in scrutinizing architectural and technical design specifications, meticulous documentation of test data, data validation, and end-to-end testing flows are integral aspects of the role. The candidate will conduct testing using both manual and/or automated processes, with a focus on detailed reporting of results. Competence in running database queries for data validation within test scripts is expected, along with the ability to adaptively integrate changes and manage defects throughout the project. Thorough understanding of project timelines, insightful reporting, and creation and review of the Test Strategy with the project team are essential. The candidate will identify potential quality

Requirements

Candidates with familiarity with automated testing concepts and tools, as well as prior experience with SmartBear TestComplete, will be given preference.

Nice to have

The ideal candidate will showcase a proven track record of 3-5 years in Quality Assurance (QA) or User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Technical mastery is imperative, with a sound understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented programming, and proficiency in QA Framework, Basic Test Methodology, and project lifecycles like SDLC. A harmonious blend of skills is sought, encompassing both business and technology realms. Proficiency in Quality Management Software and related processes is expected.
